Flutamide
Flutamide
is used to treat prostate cancer. Flutamide is in a class of drugs known as
antiandrogens. It blocks the activity of testosterone, a

Precautions
before taking Flutamide

flutamide or any other drugs.
-
tell your doctor and pharmacist what prescription and
nonprescription medications you are taking, especially
aspirin and vitamins.
-

glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency, or
blood disease, and if you are a smoker.
-
you should know that flutamide may stop sperm production in
men. However, you should not assume that you cannot get
someone else pregnant. You should not plan to have children
